Is this an effect of reading?

I've finished reading "Hell's Kitchen", "Bloody River Blues", "Speaking In Tongue", "Praying For Sleep", "Shallow Graves", and now I'm reading " Red Light" Virsion II by T. Jefferson Parker.
I found that if I concentated too much, my eyes got tired ,and I got a pain in my neck, so I took some time to practice the piano, clean, and cook in between reading books, although I think it's the other way from normal.
Reading has become a routine in my daily life.
I think it gives my life rhythm, and makes me work harder.

Earthquake

Yesterday, I did a concert together with Yoshihiro as a duo.
There were only 2 people in the audience, but I'd be happy even if only one person came to my concert.
The concert was cool until there was an earthquake... While Yoshihiro was doing improvisation to my tremolo on the piano, my chair started shaking, and the piano looked like it was moving.
「?・・・」(What was happening?) Yoshihiro and I looked at each other, and the people in the audience. Then the room jarred, and the bar which was holding up the lid of the grand piano started jolting, so we stopped playing. After a while, we started playing again, but just then the swinging came again. We managed to reach the end of the music.
It was a memorable day.

Update

I got an e-mail from Yuichiro, who made my homepage.
He told me that he had updated one of the settings of my blog, because I often overlooked comments from visitors on my website.
I used to reply them one or two weeks later, thinking I was too late...
He explained that I'm going to get an e-mail when someone writes a comment to my blog.
It was helpful, and I was happy to know he's been following up on my website.

A Beer

On the 15th, I had a concert with Toshihiro , who is a trombone player.
During the concert, I concentrated deeply on playing, so after playing, I was filled with refreshment.
Toshihiro's trombone sounded special. It made a center in space behind the music, and I was able to draw a lot of music out of it. It was really interesting !
Then we went to a Yakitori restaurant with Kanji, and a friend who came to our concert.
It was great to have a beer after playing !!

TSUKI

I had 3 concerts last week, on the 1st, the 3rd, and the 6th, almost every other day.
I enjoyed all of them.
Recently, I've been getting the same feeling about written music and improvised music, and I've been interpreting them in the same way. The feeling has got clearer every time I play, and I'm filled with a quiet sense of how enjoyable music is.

I heard from Paed, who is the leader of the group "TSUKI", which I played with as a guest, that they are coming to Japan this December.
They are going to play in the "Festival Beyond Innocence" organized by Kazuhisa Uchihashi, and some other places in Tokyo, and Nagoya, then I'm playing with them for the first time in 2 years on the 3rd of December at " Koendori Classics".
Paed , a bassist, Margrit, a drummer, and Hans, a reed player( sax, clarinet, bass clarinet) used electronic equipment as well as playing their musical instruments.
They were great musicians with a lot of experience, and I learned a lot on the tour.
I'm planing to write about some of the events of the tour in my diary from time to time.

Earth, Water, Sunlight

The bo tree on my verandah was looking a little weak. There were only a few yellow leaves left on its branches.
I pulled its roots out of the plant pot, washed it, and changed all the soil.
At first, I couldn't see any big change, but a few days later, I found some fresh green leaves on the branches ! I touched one of the leaves, and it felt soft like new green leaves.
The vital energy of plants is great !!
