Going to Europe
I'm going to Europe from the 24th of May, and staying there for one month, and I'm doing a tour with a group called "TSUKI"for the first time in three years.
This time, we are mainly going around Switzerland, and sometimes I'm playing with Paed as a duo, with a looser schedule.
I played with them once last December, but I think I'll get a taste of the real flavor of improvised music by playing with the same members for several days in a row, so I'm looking forward to battling it out.
30th of May at the W.I.M. in Zürich, Switzerland
5th of June at the Dampfzentrale in Bern, Switzerland
8th of June at the r3s3t-Market in Bern, Switzerland(just
Yoko Miura and Paed Conca)
9th of June at the Saint Gervais in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland
11th of June at the Festival Musique Innovatrice in Saint Etienne, France
After that, I'm going to Paris, and playing at a concert which Jean Borde, a bassist, organized on the 17th of June.
Jean and his group are going to Switzerland to do a tour the very next day!
Alexis, a flute player, who came to Japan last year, is also a member of the group, and we'll probably be able to play together.
It should be fun!
Frederic Blondy, a pianist, gave me an e-mail last week, telling me that he's coming to the concert on that day.
I've heard his CD because Jean recommended his music, and I think he's excellent!!!
Actually, I'm not a little nervous, but I'm really looking forward to seeing him and talking to him.
I don't know exactly what will happen on the trip, but I'm going to enjoy everything which happens to me.
