Kazuo Ohno
Last Saterday, I went to Yokohama with my friend, Young ho, to see movies.
The movies was held in Bashamichi, which is a beautiful area of Yokohama.
We watched 3 movies about dancers.
The first one was about Kazuo Ohno, who is a famous dancer.
It was the first time I've seen his dancing. The dancing was great, but there were too many scenes in the film, so I couldn't focus on what the film was saying.
The second film was about Tatsumi Hijikata. I heared he was a pioneer of his dancing.
I was impressed with his energy, but the direction was too simple for me.
The third film was very short, but excellent !!
It was simple, but it captured the essence of Kazuo Ohno's world.
When I saw the beauty in his dancing, I felt tears well up in my eyes.
The scene I liked most was where he was dancing at his home.
He was in another world, and behind him, his wife was watching him as if nothing unusual was happening.
I liked the contrast, and I felt there was a good balance between them.

Phil Minton's Workshop
Last week, I went to a workshop by Phil Minton, who is a voice performance improviser.
The workshop went on for 4days, about 20 people came.
This time, half of them were homeless people who were organized by Masaaki Tsuda who helps them to become independent and regain their confidence.
It was enjoyable to make music with them, because I felt humanity and emotional depth from them.
I'm interested in communicating with other people mentally, and I think it's important for me to do that as well as developing my talent as a musician.

About my music
On the 27th of October, I had a duo session with Yuka Kaneko, who calls herself "Chintai Jinkaku".
We've been playing together in a group called "Ahup-yan", but this is the first time we've played as a duo.
It was enjoyable!! She showed the performer side of herself, and it made a good contrast between us.
On the 2nd of November, I played with a drummer, Tetsu Nagasawa, as a duo.
On that day, I tried to play each piece of music with notes that were in harmony.
I thought it worked out well.
Recently I've been thinking about my music.
I don't want just follow an existing styleof music without thinking when I play, but that doesn't mean that I always play in an abstract style.
I want to play the essence of the music in that situation simply and naturally without any stereotypes.
