awake from "winter sleep"
8th(Mon) A concert with a French sax player, Vincent, and five Japanese players, Kanji( clarinet), Toshihiro( trombone), Mori-shige( cello), Yutaka ( bass), and Yuhki( niko) at "Violon".
10th(Wed) A rehearsal with Tomoko7s unit, Ikkuna, which means beyond the window, in Finnish.
11th(Thu) A concert with a drummer, Tetsu, at "Grapefruit Moon".
12th(Fri) A rehearsal with Yoshiki's trio.
These past two weeks, I keep thinking of finishing a song for Ikkuna.
In this group, we use a text, and I had to make a song with the word in it.
I kept repeating the melody again and again until I was satisfied, not only in my head but also mumbling out load.
The beginning of the first words of the lyrics were " help me".
People sometimes turned to look at the strange person mumbling " help me...""help me"
Anyway, the song was completed, and on the 26th of February, we are going to play at a concert, BomBa Crack! 3, at "Velvet Sun"

Happy New Year!!
My winter vacation was finished, and I played the piano at a studio for the first time in the New Year.
I'm going to focus my solo piano as well as my activities with other groups which I've been working on up to now.
I want to build each activity carefully on top of the last.
On my way home, I bought a T-shirt at a New Year sale.
That's right, I remembered January is the month of sales!!!
I've finished reading 2 mystery books,"Mystic River"by Dennis Lehane and
"Briapatch" by Ross Thomas, and a non-fiction story, " Black Dahlia Avenger"by Steve Hodel.
My pansy on the veranda has blossomed intio a mass of purple flowers spilling over the flowerpot, and it's been growing new flowers day by day.
In this cold weather, it's an encouraging sight.
