miranda & a solo piano concert
This week, I had two concerts.
On Thesday the 15th, I played in "Miranda", a trio made up of me, Yoshihiro, a sax player, and Yuichi, a lap-top player, at " Grapefruit".
I think that, with more variety and dynamics in the sound of our ensemble, our music has developed.
On Friday the 18th, I played a solo piano concert at " Violon".
I think I've got a feeling for how to create a mood in my solo playing.
I'm going to be as active in my solo piano work as in my other band activities and sessions.
I've been sleepy since I came back to Japan day and night.
I thought it was because of jet-lag, but the people around me also look sleepy.
I may have fallen into the habit " oversleeping in spring."

Tour in France " La Veuve Mustache"
On the 8th of May, a little after 2 in the afternoon, I arrived at Narita.
I was woken up by the vibration when our plane landed on the ground.
I'm breathing a sigh of releaf now that I've finished our toue safely.
This time,I took part in "La Veuve Mustache" by Yuichi kishino, as a pianist, and went around Nime, Bordeaux, Metz, and Paris.
There was a full house at every venue, and we received the enthusiastic response and applause
from the audience with excitement.
I had a small drink to celebrate with Yuichi, who took a curtain call 3 times at the concert in Nime, with a glass of beer and a piece of pizza, and he said that he was happy because he managed to actieve everything he had intended.
I felt that it took a lot of people and a lot of time to put together the different elements, such as music, film, translation, and putteteer's tools, and make up a single complete work.
Actually, I was worried about the playing right up until just before leaving, because I couldn't get the whole picture about the concert, but it got clearer every concert I played, and I enjoyed them a lot !
